The visit lasted for about three hours. First Milad ceremony in the Baptist Church in the sub-continental history Dated: 28 February 2010 The special Milad ceremony was held in February 2010 in a local Church for the first time in the history of Pakistan. Hosted by Reverend Chaman Sardar, chairman of Mother Teresa Welfare Society and the Christian community in the Baptist Church in Shahadrah Lahore, the ceremony was named as Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference. For centuries on end, the Muslims have been celebrating the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him), which has now become a symbol of cross-cultural and inter-religious harmony and call towards establishing durable peace in the world. Fatwa against Terrorism Launched in Islamabad Dated: 18 March 2010 Inauguration ceremony of Fatwa of Shyakh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, a comprehensive book of 600 pages, was held in the Holiday Inn Hotel in Islamabad under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Minhaj Ulama Council. Addressing the ceremony, Minister of State for Information Syed Samsam Bokhari said that Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is the lover of the Holy Prophet (saw), his household and holds the saints and Sufis in great reverence. International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference 2010 under MQI Dated: 26 February 2010 The 26th annual and the Islamic world's biggest ever "International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference" under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International was held on the intervening night between the 11th and the 12th of the holy month of the Rabi-ul-Awwal (February 26, 2010) at the historic Minar-e-Pakistan. Minhaj Ambulance Service launched Dated: 09 February 2010 Minhaj Welfare Foundation has started its ambulance service in the Wandu area (PP-99) of Gujranwala. With this addition, the total number of ambulances under MWF has increased to 25. The inaugural ceremony was held on February 9, 2010 where Iftikhar Shah Bokhari, central Deputy Director of MWF, was the chief guest on the occasion.
